Thursday Plantation has used the lessons learnt in taking this one product from obscurity to abundance, to apply research techniques to many plant actives. The company is a pioneer in the burgeoning field of Phytotherapy (medicine from plants). Building on our experiences with Tea Tree we have developed a new culture of alternative therapy working with plants in a scientific way to restore credibility to the plant medicines of the earth.

In February 2001 Thursday Plantation took over Australia's pioneer in liquid herbal extracts, Greenridge Botanicals. We searched the world for safe and effective natural therapeutics. Our brief was to discover only products that were at least as good or better than synthetic pharmaceuticals in action, and which were many times safer in side effect profile. We added Bekunis, Nature's Remedy and Veromax into our range of natural medicine. Drug free pain relief, clinically proven sexual performance enhancement, and a wide range of effective herbal preparations to assist in treating mild depression, liver toxicity, weak eyes, gastric problems, and many other common ailments now join Tea Tree Oil as credible scientifically proven aids to wellbeing and good health.

In 2003 our Corporate name changed to TP Health Ltd to reflect the growing diversity of products now manufactured under the brands: Thursday Plantation, Greenridge, Bekunis, Vermomax and Nature's Remedy.

In 2004, TP Health acquired Sunspirit Oils, Australia’s oldest and most widely distributed aromatherapy range of essential oils, focused on therapeutic benefits from the beginning. The Sunspirit philosophy is a grass roots commitment to understanding and caring for the needs of our customers through superior aromatherapy products. The Sunspirit Aromatherapy range is a complete fit with TP Health’s passion for health from nature, and our passion to deliver real benefits in every product.

As evidence of our commitment to growth in this industry, in March 2006 we launched 24 new Greenridge products covering the full spectrum of health needs using herbs, vitamins and minerals and based on the world’s best scientific evidence. Thursday Plantation has now become a well-rounded natural therapeutics company trading under the name TP Health Ltd.

Today Thursday Plantation is both the brand for essential oil products and our original home in Ballina, Northern NSW; a place where visitors are encouraged to discover the magic of natural therapies in a rainforest garden with Australia’s finest regional sculpture park and the splendid “Spirit of Australia Maze”.
