    I got this book on a whim when I saw the Title. I was especially interested when I learned it was from ESPN being that they would be a little more credible on the subject of Steroids as they pertain to sports and perhaps health.

    It takes you through the history of modern American steroid use/abuse in a chronological order. Easy to read with simple, direct language. What I found most enlightening is to learn of all the politics surrounding the issue and how the war on illegal steroids is relatively in its' infancy.

    Good read and educational as well. An awful lot of research went into this one.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
