The shaker DOES NOT LEAK! That is the most important aspect of this shaker. The scrren built into the lid in the shaker easily mixes up the protein powder and is easy to clean. Unfortunately with this bottle the base is too narrow for the blender blade to reach the bottom which defeats its purpose. I could make the shake in another container and transfer it to the bottle but then I end up with an extra dish to clean. The other feature I don't like is the flip-top opening. While it's more convenient than the bottles that you have to unscrew the lid to drink from, the flip top cover can pop open and I've had my shake spill on occasion from it. The only drawback is it's size, it is large. Hence, a mini-shaker would add a nice complementary. However, if you look carefully, A1supplements usually has a deal for the Optimum shaker. Pros

Due to all the nooks and crannies of the design it makes cleaning it not the easiest of tasks. Just gonna stick with blender bottle. Pros

Works great, much bigger than the 24oz advertised. Gives you room to make a bigger protein shake, which I like. Thanks for a great deal on a great product. Pros
