Mahuang RP was a big disappointment.

Mahuang RP does not contain Ephedra ALKALOIDS. It's the Alkaloids that really increase your metabolism. Without the Alkaloids it's not going to be effective like the Ephedra of the past.

Mahuang RP does suppress appetite and gives an energy boost but other products will do the same but only cheaper.

Look for products that stated they contain "standardized Ephedra ALKALOIDS or ALKALOIDS groups". If they don't then it's not "real ephedra" and your wasting your money.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

      I tried this in an attempt to cut corners and wean myself off more expensive ephedra pills. These definitely took the edge off my ephedra withdrawl, but the performance results were very uneven. I'd feel fine one minute, drained and feverish the next.
      I also vomited a couple times while taking these.
      I promptly saved enough money to go back to my more expensive brand.
      SportsOne Ma Huang will get you through your workout in a pinch, but try it first to see if it agrees with you.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
