How to use:
Basically take as recommended but there are a few things to be wary of. For starters, Glutamine and Creatine both compete for the same receptors. What this means is that if you end up taking both glutamine and creatine at the same time, not all of it will be absorbed. So what i would recommend is to take the Creatine approximately 30-45mins before you take your Glutamine.
Now there has been alot of research done on Glutamine. Now the only reason for taking GLutamine which is supported by scientific research is that it keeps a positive nitrogen balance. So if for some reason your not meeting your protein needs, the least thing you could do for muscular development is to take Glutamine. Like multi-vitamins i'd consider glutamine as one of your 'insurance policies'.
In relation to cost and effectiveness. Optimum Nutrition is a brand i will always trust. The saying is "you get what you pay for" and with ON this isn't the case. The Glutamine 1000 is well worth the money and is definitely cheaper than most other brands out there. You get more than what you pay for.
I'd clearly highly recommend it.

Comments about Optimum Nutrition Glutamine 1000, 240 Capsules:
Great product, I've actually noticed reduced recovery time and the supplement is rather cheap as well. The only problem I have is that you have to take 3 caps inbetween meals 30 mins before workouts and before sleep is a lot to take. I've been taking three early afternoon, three 30 mins before working out and before bed and they still seem effective to me.
