A most remarkable study was performed by the C Bulasterone

entre for Phytomedicine Research - a research division of the Department of Botany at the University of Fort Hare, located in Alice, South Africa. In this study, subjects were given Bulbine natalensis extract and then were evaluated to determine what effect Bulbine natalansis extract has on various sex hormone levels, including testosterone, estrogen, and prolactin. The results were literally astonishing; something bodybuilders only dream about. Subjects in this study demonstrated a resulting serum testosterone level that was 347% greater than that of the control group, and with an estrogen level that was 35% lower!

Researchers have also concluded that Bulbine natalensis extract increases gonadotropin-releasing-hormone-luteinizing hormone (GnRH-LH) signaling. GnRH is released from the hypothalamus in the brain. GnRH stimulates the release of luteinizing hormone (LH) from the pituitary. LH is the hormone that directly stimulates cells in the testes to produce and release testosterone. Bulbine natalensis extract has also been shown to stimulate LH by 169%, as compared to placebo!

Researchers have additionally determined that Bulbine natalensis extract also increases cholesterol in the testes. Cholesterol is the equivalent of raw material in the testes needed to create testosterone. Cholesterol is taken up into the mitochondria of the testes where it is processed into pregnenolone, which can then be converted into various sex steroids. Due to cholesterol's status as a raw material, its uptake into the testes is often the rate-limiting step in sex steroid synthesis. Thus, enhanced GnRH-LH signaling and cholesterol formation in the testes are two important properties that support enhanced testosterone synthesis.

As previously stated, Bulbine natalensis extract has also demonstrated an ability to produce a significant decrease in excess estrogen levels by as much as 35%, as compared to placebo. A reduction in excess estrogen helps to create a favorable environment that supports increased total and free testosterone levels.

The proprietary Bulbine natalensis extract in Bulasterone is called Test-Rx, which is standardized to 40%+ steroidal saponins, 2.5% sterolins, 1.5% tannins, 0.5% fatty acids, 10% phytosterols and anthraquinones. It has long been known that saponins enhance androgen (such as testosterone) production.

Bulasterone Works!

Bulasterone contains a 98% Rhaponticum carthamoides extract (RCE) standardized to 40% turkesterone. This potent extract, with its unique high concentration of 40% turkesterone, is imported exclusively by Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals rom Russia for the production of Bulasterone. Turkesterone is possibly the strongest ecdysteroid known, which is a protein synthesis compound, and is considered by many to be an underground bodybuilding supplement. In the past, turkesterone has remained a closely guarded secret for those who know how to use it successfully. Turkesterone can be used in conjunction with testosterone-boosting supplements for additive anabolic effects.

Obtaining a high quality turkesterone raw material, however, can be problematic. Turkesterone is primarily only found in the Far East and harvested in China and Russia. The Russian variant is, by far, the favored extracted from the Rhaponticum carthamoides plant due to significantly more potency.
